[Flexradio] cant get power sdr to work..

I don't have a radio yet, the 5000a is due to arrive next week.

I thought psdr would open without the radio, not so?

I downloaded the fire wire driver, then powersdr, everything seemed to go
like it should.
If I try and open powersdr, a few screens come up saying loading stuff, then
everything goes away and I get nothing.
Do I need the radio to load the software?
I thought I would be able to look at it, or do the demo, but get nothing....
