Hi Joe,

Chances are when the system crashed the user settings file was corrupted.
See the following link (2nd heading) for how to delete it so it can be
recreated.

As far as the reason for the crash, I too suspect RF got into the system
(radio/PC). Make sure you have a GOOD low impedance RF ground connected to
the whole system.

THP amps are notorious for tripping off too soon. This can be helped by
adding some delay (25-100ms) to the TX1-3 control in the PSDR antenna
window. This delay allows the PTT to be firmly established before the RF is
applied. This is more important for CW operation than other modes, but has
been found the help the problem

If you're not using the DDUtil Auto Drive feature you might find it handy
for setting amp drive levels.

Please reply to the DDUtil Yahoo group if you're still having problems after
checking out the above items.

Joe,

You might have gotten RF into the computer and corrupted one of the
files in the DDUtil program. When you uninstalled it, did you reboot
before you re-installed and also did you make sure that entire DDUTIL
directory was deleted in the Program Files directory?
