[Flexradio] 5000A CW

Just experimenting with the Flex 5000A on cw.
Would appreciate anyone's observations on the following:

When the 5000 is keyed from cwx all is good.

When keyed with an external WinKey or from a logging program using the
WinKey, the panadaptor bounces up and down, the meter and many button
labels flash on and off and the monitor produces a loud clicking in
addition to the cw tone.

Any ideas?
