[Flexradio] 3000 vs 5000

Besides the obvious hardware flexibilities designed into the 5000, the
only thing I can say is the 5000 feels like a radio almost double the
cost of the 3000. I cannot say any one area that I noticed that
screamed "Not your 5000a Buddy!" but the rx has a sense of silkiness
(sri, I am an audiophile and thats how we talk) that isn't present on
the 3000.

At its price point, however, the 3000 is a killer and I am so pleased
I purchased one. I look forward to many hours of usage of both (I
bought the 3000 both to make sure FlexLoader works well with it as
well as to use at our summer home where I will toss out the IC-756
currently there the minute I get in that house!)

If you cannot get a 5000a you will love it!
