Can you "see" the radio in the Firewire control panel?

I wonder what I am missing.  I upgraded to 3.4.0..4877 for the firewire 
and rebooted.  When I bring up FlexRadio.exe and I get Drive erro:  
Driver access error  Check the driver configuration or device 
connections.  When I start PSDR 1.16.2  I get Port Audio Error - invalid 
number of channels.
