Look into the ICE BCB filters. Many have had good results with them

Subject: [Flexradio] Broadcast interference
Hi all,
I have a little problem with a broadcast transmitter not to far from me.
It has two main frequencies it transmits on 1.395 and 1.539. plus all the junk that makes up the transmissions.
Just wondering if anybody has come across this problem and what they have done to fix it, me I would like to turn it off but, one of the freqs is a government one, lol.
I have looked on the web and there is heap of broad cast filters, if people have had to use them what sort of results did you get and would you recommend it.
Being a die hard ham and I believe in have a go first, I have tried with limited success is building, I managed to get up to a 48 dB drop but this is still far from what I would like, the flex 5000a display is saying a signal of -8 dBm and -5 dBm . If I use the other HF antenna its
-5 dBm on both.
I do not feel like packing up the QTH and moving (grin)
The harmonics from this is terrible
Looking forward to any input.
cheers and 73s'
Paul
