Hi Scott!

The PVC enclosures won't rust but at the same time they are not watertight.
Depending on how you mount them, you may want to make a tiny hole to drain
any water that may permeate.  I use a PVC enclosure for my remote tuner.
The box mounts face up.  I found that water will  eventually get in through
the screws.  I resolved the issue by using some clear nail polish over and
around all the screws.
