If you use Method #1, there is one additional step needed.

After you uninstall SDRDataTransfer, delete the directory where the program
was installed.  
By default this is:  C:\Program Files\RNA Software\SDR Data Transfer

If you fail to delete the directory, the installer will leave the old setup
database in place & you will have accomplished nothing.
