Ed, you can use an application like Ham Radio
Deluxe to scan your transceiver through CAT.


By not scanning, FRS avoids FCC issues with
scanning receivers; their permission to sell
one with scanning would take lots of effort
and probably cripple PowerSDR.  FRS already
has to put systems in place to prevent out-
of-band transmission capability.






When scanners are outlawed,
only outlaws will have scanners
